Four things to know before your first dig

    The truck lands on Saturday

    A full truckload from major retailers hits the floor on Saturday morning. Thousands of items, mixed cases, overstock, and customer returns that were never opened. The bins are at their deepest they will be all week.

    Come before noon if you are hunting something specific.

  2. 02

    Everything goes in the bins

    No shelves. No categories. No labels. Electronics end up next to cookware, and cookware ends up next to toys. You dig with your hands — that is the point, and it is why the pickers who kneel down usually leave with the best finds.

    Wear something you can kneel in. Bring a bag.

  3. 03

    One price for the whole store, every day

    Whatever you pull out of a bin costs the same as everything else in the bins that day. There is no per-item pricing to argue about. Saturday it is the highest price, Friday it is the lowest, and the ladder resets when the next truck lands.

    Nothing gets added back midweek

    We never top the bins up between trucks. So as the week goes on the bins get thinner and the price drops with them. By Friday you are sifting a much smaller pile — at the lowest price of the week. That is where the real scores hide.

What to bring, and what we do for you

  • Bring a bag

    You will fill it. We do not provide carts for the bins — hands and arms only.

  • We open anything

    Boxes stay sealed in the bins, so you can see exactly what you are buying. Ask us to open it.

  • Test before you pay

    There is a testing station for electronics and anything with a battery. Test it there, not at home.

  • Free onsite parking

    Pull up, dig, load the car. The lot is right outside the door.

How to dig well

Five habits of people who leave with the good stuff

  1. 01

    Come on Saturday morning for the widest choice, or Friday for the lowest price.

  2. 02

    Get down to the bottom of the bin. The pile refills from the top and the heavy things sink.

  3. 03

    Check a bin you already walked past — bins get moved, and stock gets redistributed as people dig.

  4. 04

    Bring a friend and split up. Two people cover twice the floor.

  5. 05

    If it has a battery, test it at the station before you pay for it.
